Pin Number Pin Name Description
Ground Pin. Care must be taken in layout. This pin should be placed outside of the Schottky Diode to output capacitor 1 GND ground path to prevent switching current spikes from inducing voltage noise into XL4015. Feedback Pin (FB). Through an external resistor divider 2 FB network, FB senses the output voltage and regulates it. The feedback threshold voltage is 1.25V. Power Switch Output Pin (SW). SW is the switch node that 3 SW supplies power to the output. Internal Voltage Regulator Bypass Capacity. In typical system 4 VC application, The VC pin connect a 1uf capacity to VIN. Supply Voltage Input Pin. XL4015 operates from a 8V to 36V 5 VIN DC voltage. Bypass Vin to GND with a suitably large capacitor to eliminate noise on the input. Rev 1.5 www.xlsemi.com 2
